Frequently asked questions

The four we get asked most.

All questions
Why ask what my site offers?

Because visitors don’t type your name: they describe what they’re looking for. We ask the AIs that question, in the language of your audience, and see whether your site shows up.

Why isn’t there a mark out of a hundred?

A mark alone says neither who is named instead of you, nor what to fix. Nombra shows the answers as they are, and who is in them.

Is this about ranking on Google?

No. Classic search optimisation targets a list of links; here, an AI writes an answer and brings out a few sites. The rules aren’t the same, and most of the old tactics don’t carry over — repeating keywords, for instance, has a negative effect.

How long does it take?

The free analysis: under a minute, a first fact in under ten seconds. Tracking over time: a few minutes to confirm your details, then everything runs without you.
